Itineraries
Day 1
Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) & Overnight in Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). You will be welcomed by your driver-guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha for check-in. Spend the evening at leisure, relaxing and preparing for your safari adventure. Overnight at your hotel in Arusha
Day 2
Game Drive in Tarangire – Overnight in Karatu
Morning:
After breakfast, your guide will pick you up and drive to Lake Manyara National Park (approx. 2 hours by road).
Begin your game drive in the park. Lake Manyara is renowned for its tree-climbing lions, large elephant herds, and stunning birdlife, including flamingos and pelicans.
Afternoon:
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park or stop at a designated area.
Continue your game drive in the afternoon, exploring different sections of the park for more wildlife sightings.
Late Afternoon:
After your game drive, drive to Karatu (approx. 1-hour drive), where you will spend the night.
Evening:
Enjoy dinner and relax for the night. Overnight stay in Karatu.
Day 3
Game Drive in Ngorongoro Crater – Overnight in Karatu
Morning:
After breakfast, check out of your accommodation and drive to Ngorongoro Crater (approx. 30–40 minutes’ drive).
Once at the crater rim, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater floor for a game drive. The crater is home to a variety of wildlife, including the Big Five: lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, and leopards, as well as many species of birds and other animals.
Afternoon:
Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor or at one of the designated spots near the crater’s edge.
Continue your game drive in the afternoon to spot more wildlife and explore the Lake Magadi area, known for flamingos and other birdlife.
Late Afternoon:
After the game drive, ascend from the crater and head back to Karatu (approx. 40-minute drive).
Evening:
Enjoy dinner and relax for the evening.
Overnight stay in Karatu.
Day 4
Departure to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)
Morning:
After breakfast, check out of your accommodation and drive to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) (approx. 2.5 to 3 hours’ drive).
Afternoon:
Arrive at JRO in time for your departure flight. If time allows, you can stop for a quick visit to Arusha for last-minute shopping or a brief sightseeing
